GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test. It is one of the important exams for getting admission in management schools globally. Earlier the exam duration was 4 hours but after the year 2018, the duration cut by 30 mins by the Graduate Management Admission Council. The duration of Verbal and quantitative sections was cut by 13 and 10 minutes. Now the GMAT duration 2021 is only 3 hours and 30 mins, including breaks.

GMAT is a standardized exam created for getting MBA admission to graduate business and management programs. It evaluates a candidate’s academic performance for graduate management programs. How to Apply For GMAT Exam?
GMAT test assesses the candidate's abilities in subjects like reasoning, verbal, quantitative aptitude, and analytical writing. There are no specific eligibility criteria by GMAC as GMAT Eligibility, but here some mandatory rules are needed to be fulfilled.
Age- Candidate should be older than 18 years. In case he/she is below than that they need parental consent before applying for the exam.

Academic qualification- Candidate should hold a graduation degree from a valid university. there is no requirement for any particular course for the exam but the respected university will ask you for that.

Basically, these requirements are mandatory to be completed. Also, there is no restriction for attempting the GMAT exam for a student. The only criteria to be taken into consideration are that a student should take a 16 day break before appearing for the test for the 2nd time.
