GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test. It is one of the important exams for getting admission in management schools globally. The GMAT exam is a computer-based entrance exam that assesses those students who are aiming to get admission in the MBA study program. Analytical writing, Verbal skills, writing skills, and reading skills will be tested through this exam. 

Earlier the exam duration was 4 hours but after the year 2018, the duration cut by 30 mins by the Graduate Management Admission Council. The duration of Verbal and quantitative sections was cut by 13 and 10 minutes. Now the GMAT duration 2021 is only 3 hours and 30 mins, including breaks.

GMAT is a standardized exam created for getting MBA admission to graduate business and management programs. It evaluates a candidate’s academic performance for graduate management programs. The Exam is computer-based which means the question sequence is not decided. The next question will assess your ability and intelligence and prompt new questions.

How to Apply For GMAT Exam?

GMAT test assesses the candidate's abilities in subjects like reasoning, verbal, quantitative aptitude, and analytical writing. There are no specific eligibility criteria by GMAC as GMAT Eligibility, but here some mandatory rules are needed to be fulfilled.

Age- Candidate should be older than 18 years. In case he/she is below than that they need parental consent before applying for the exam.

Language- It is an important point for students who are going to appear in the GMAT exam as the exam will be conducted in the English language. The candidate should able to understand, write and listen to the English language. Basic grammar and communication should be good.

Academic qualification- Candidate should hold a graduation degree from a valid university. there is no requirement for any particular course for the exam but the respected university will ask you for that. 

Attempts 

Basically, these requirements are mandatory to be completed. Also, there is no restriction for attempting the GMAT exam for a student. The only criteria to be taken into consideration are that a student should take a 16 day break before appearing for the test for the 2nd time.

  4. Choose your test date and time and make payment in the next step. 
  5. The GMAT Exam fee is USD 250, make sure you have entered the right and correct information before submitting g the application and paying the fee.

GMAT Test Fee 

USD 250 is the GMAT registration fee. in Indian Rupees, you will pay 18,3000 INR. The fees also depend on the location of the exam center.

The duration of the exam is 3 hours and 30 mins. The GMAT pattern 2021 has 4 sections which include.
